Guess I was right.

I do love it, to be honest. He's not that too-dark-to-have-emotions edgelord I was expecting. He's actually vibrant, weirdly joyful, and eager to fight. His taunt are not basic mockery, he's actually trying to enrage his opponent to make them fight him. He has this rage, not towards everyone, but towards specific people (targonians/aspects), with an actual need for vengeance.

It also expands a lot on the universe. Especially, it looks like it tries to connect things together. Targonians and Darkins seem related somehow, and Kayle apparently is tied to the Ascension. There is also the void that seems to be connected to something greater.

(And guys, people have accents in real life, they can have accents in a game…)

I feel like 90% of his lines could be said by Veigar and still make sense. He tries so hard to be a badass inmortal thing and then gets angry with a little girl... (Sure, she is OP in the lore but still funny) He is like the typical villain of a saturday morning cartoon who is sure that he will win, but he wont.

I legitimately don't understand why people dislike it. He's funny, he's the right amount of edgy, he's got a great sword, he's fuckin' Russian, and he wants to murderer everything. Cool ass character, can't wait to check him out.

I like the voice over, it's good work but there isn't enough "I'm the best, now die." to me, it's more of a "Here's a diss, now fight me.". Shame about his gameplay and his wings not being out all the time.

I think poeple are bothered that his theme changed, from "the symbol of war" to " the god of war". Though tbh his new themedoes make him feel more like a darkin.

Whatever his new VO is it's not what I liked about Aatrox's personality. What he felt not being conveyed through his lines, his mood and emotions being a mystery if existent, was what I loved the most about him besides his appearance. Aatrox was either unreadable or saw everyone around him as nothing more than ants, or both. And that's one of my favorite traits when it comes to fictional characters.
