Now I know why Jhin is travelling to Piltover/Zaun...

There is surely no shortage of killers in the area, many of them also being quite equipped in terms of technology.

However, Jhin is a true expert. He's the one you call when you want to kill a BIG target. The one you call when all conventional means have failed. And the one you call when you need an outsider because the target has enough control and informations that they would see it coming if a local killer was hired.

Now, who in this Mega-City has tons of money AND is pissed to the point that they would hire Jhin?

The young lady in the Camille-vomic who had her beloved who literally just proposed to her killed in front of her eyes by a self-proclaimed vigilante that seems absolutely invincible. However, that young lady is now the boss to one of the most influencal clans in Piltover, and that usually means tons of cash and influence that can go 1000% into "I want somone absolutely positively DEAD! NOW GET ME THE BEST GUY IN THAT AREA! I DON'T CARE HOW EXPENSIVE OR SICK HIS SERVICES ARE! I WANT THAT WHORE DEAD BY THE END OF THE MONTH!"

Sigh, I feel bad for Cait and Vi already who have the job of cleaning up after this mess - the collateral damage of two expert killers clashing is not to underestimate either...

Actually im quite positive that lady was more safer in with the zaun-baron, even he was for the money. Also, Jhin apparently loves piltover attire if you look at him. Or...maybe that is his costume on a piltover mission so he can blend in.

i think she'll be more connected to Caitlyn more than anyone since caits lore says

"The bandit, who always left a card with an ornate 'C' at the scene of the crime, became Caitlyn's arch-nemesis. To this day, Caitlyn still searches for this cat burglar, and the chase has led her all across Valoran. As she travels, she seeks to hone her skills and gain the influence necessary to track down the only quarry that has managed to evade her."

Jhin could also be involved similar to how Azir will likely fight Xerath while Taliyah looks to dethrone Azir, regardless this is gonna be some badass lore in 2017, shurima lore confirmed, now this? amazing

I think he was assigned to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. Whenever his superiors task him with a new assignment, he's always sent off to kill approximately 4 people, after all. That or he gets a compulsion to kill approximately four people every time he visits a new nation/city/region/what have you. Either-or.

That is to say, he might have multiple targets at both Zaun and Piltover. In Evelynn's recent lore update, we're introduced to a Zaunit chemo baron who was originally from Ionia and hired her as his personal assassin and potential bodyguard. I think it's fairly likely that this particular chemo baron 'betrayed' his native country of Ionia by selling bio-weapons to Noxus through the black market or something like that. So they sent Jhin to take him down.

There's also that rich Piltie who randomly killed Ekko's friend from that Chronobreak comic. Makes me wonder what kind of shady business said Piltie was doing down in Zaun anyway. So who knows what'll happen at this point, all I know is that I want to see Jhin interact with other champions from Zaun and Piltover and vice-versa. Though I do feel bad for Cait and Vi, things are about to get very rough for both of them.

I really hope this is the connection! Makes sense to me :)
