Why do story updates only come with champion design reworks? Some champions' lore is sorely lacking while their gameplay and kit are fine. For instance: Elise, Evelynn, Corki, Skarner, and Sivir are good examples. I think we should have a new type of update: Lore updates. (Combined with visual updates, skins, and events where possible.)

Exactly. I'm just saying it doesn't always need to be accompanied by a gameplay update.
GreenLore1 votesWell it makes sense to work on the champion lore in groups,so that the champions from a certain faction can tie in together.
In some cases they likely wait for the VU on purpose,because the Vu will change the character in a certain direction(imagine if they updated GPs lore and made him this jolly kind of pirate in it,only to later give him a VU,where he turned rather dark).
Buuut anyway at least they should really start to update the lores of the newer champs that were released with only a short lore.
