Why do story updates only come with champion design reworks? Some champions' lore is sorely lacking while their gameplay and kit are fine. For instance: Elise, Evelynn, Corki, Skarner, and Sivir are good examples. I think we should have a new type of update: Lore updates. (Combined with visual updates, skins, and events where possible.)

Mount Tygon lore event? Burning Tides event? Nither of those updated their champs (exception of Taric of course). So Diana, Pantheon, Leona, Kalista, Mordikiser, Karthis, Heceram, any other shadow isles champ I forgot... got exactly what you wished for.
Well it makes sense to work on the champion lore in groups,so that the champions from a certain faction can tie in together.
In some cases they likely wait for the VU on purpose,because the Vu will change the character in a certain direction(imagine if they updated GPs lore and made him this jolly kind of pirate in it,only to later give him a VU,where he turned rather dark).
Buuut anyway at least they should really start to update the lores of the newer champs that were released with only a short lore.
