As far as official statements go Tryndamere is a close ally to ashe.

Not sure if it was ever said that they are still married.

Yep. But their marriage isn't from love, it's political to unite the people from Avarosa. Because some supported Ashe and others supported Tryndamere.

They dodged a fight amongst each other with the wedding.
