Problems with Ziggs & Jinx comic

Finally read it and I have to say - as a huge Ziggs and Jinx fan - this is awful.

First of all Ziggs' Bio completely contradicts the comic,

"Word of Ziggs' volatile experimentation reached the famed Yordle Academy in Piltover and its esteemed professors invited him to demonstrate his craft."

Yordles are well known and appreciated in Piltover... but the comic portrays them as hated and feared.

Ziggs is also supposed to be a hero as he saved Heimerdinger and other yordles from being captured by ZAUNITES. In the comic he literally allies with Jinx, destroys a bunch of shit around Piltover, then runs away with her to Zaun after she tells him how great a place it is.

Uhh what? It just keeps going

Ziggs and Heimer are working in some low-down shop in the comic. They're supposed to be pretty big deals at the Yordle University.

Jinx cares about killing people

etc.

What the actual hell happened with this comic?

Yordle lore in general is mostly outdated, Ziggs included, Riot have been hinting at new lore at some point and I think this was the first step (although it's taking a while). Ziggs for example is no longer a Piltover Champion but a Zaun one because of this comic.

Honestly? I think it's just lore Riot didn't have the time to change. AGAIN.

They might be esteemed among fellow enlightened scholars. Your average pigfarmer will still shoot them with a shotgun because they make the rain go away.
