Ekko Revealed... but no lore?

It happened again, folks. First with Bard... and now with Ekko.

A new champion is revealed, and no lore is introduced. I'm sure we'll get some minor questions answered in the typically vague way Narrative's personnel seem to specialize in, but this is getting pretty tiresome.

Where are these champions stories? When are we going to get some actual lore around here? Will the new stories be worth the wait?

I'm guessing the answers will be: "<shrug> I'unno," "Soon™," and "probably not."

Terra we went through this 3 months ago. The champion reveals don't include lore.

you know they don't mention the lore of a champ in the champion reveal anymore ever since vel'koz.....

Well, there is a little thing that we can speculate by just looking at the videos of his abilities:

He may be rival with and Caitlyn

Why?

Because when Riot makes the "demo videos", they tend to put the new champion against their rivals (Renekton against Nasus, Azir against Xerath, Jinx against Vi, Vi against Cait, Jayce against Viktor, Kalista against Hecarim etc)
