Theory: Chemtech Tryndamere and Urgot

So it's quite obvious Chemtech Tryndamere is a nod toward the Urgod, but what if it is even more so than we think? My theory is that they showed Chemtech Tryndamere because Urgot is to be released sooner than we expected (maybe patch 7.13 or 7.14) and that skin is supposed to be released along side him. It would be a perfect, early teaser to say Urgot is coming. As far as I can tell, there's no release date for Chemtech Tryndamere and I'm pretty sure he's not already out, as I don't see him in the store. So if this theory holds up, I predict we'll see a teaser for Urgot by the end of this month or early next month.

I doubt that he will come that soon. But they probably came up with the skin idea while working on Urgot.

And I really hope Urgot is going to be a chembaron..... Please. It could be an interesting new archetype we don't have in the game right now.

That undead abomination just made for killing kinda is already there with Sion.... and he is from Noxus, just like current Urgot. I would prefer a background story of a deadly ill chembaron, who is using all the technology in Zaun to prevent his own death because he fears it, even if that means that he has to make his entire body totally reliant on a machine.

Yeah, I'm mostly just grasping at air out of desperation, cause Urgot is pretty much the only thing I want right now.

I honestly think I'll be fine with whatever they do with Urgot, so long as he remains a cyborg monstrosity with chronic pain. Though if he's to be a chem baron, I would prefer one of two options: 1. he's still Works for Noxus but as some sort of spy master keeping an eye on Piltover from under its nose, or 2. he tried to betray Noxus before he died and was brought back to be in attempt to make him a weapon that they could control (only the control part failed and he ended up starting his own empire in the criminal underworld of Zaun). I honestly don't mind him being undead, cause unlike Sion, Urgot is also a cyborg... and undead cyborg is something I don't think I've seen anywhere other than League of Legends. However, I am also all for the idea of him battling some incurable disease that is slowly eating away at his body; causing him to replace parts with chemtech and organs and skin grafts from other people.

I would like to see him struggle between a fear of death and the agony he goes through to defy it. Basically, focus a lot of his personality on whether survival and power is worth the "endless misery" or not.

Truly understand you, since they announced his rework I was hungering for his VGU. Zaun is my favourite nation from League of Legends (alongside Piltover) and I love champions with that chemtech background (just like Warwick, who was a great work).

I like the idea of him being a spy for Noxus as well. That just shows how much potential there is in Urgot as a character when it comes to lore. I hope it will be something like what you described here. ^^

Yeah, Zaun and Piltover are two of my three favorite regions (the Shadow Isle being the other). And yes, while I never play him cause I suck with him, Warwick was a job extremely well done in all areas; and it makes me happy to know the team that did him is working on Urgot now.

It would even be cool to see some similarities to Warwick, in that Urgot does something with overheating; thus granting some kind of boost or shield.

I doubt this will happen. Urgot isn't in this patch and he won't be in the next one either. And I doubt that riot will hold back on a skin like this for such a long time

Honestly, while Riot said Urgot would likely come after the next new champion, we really don't know for sure if Urgot will be in the next patch or not until we see it.

We know already the major releases for the next patch,they are going to be nightbringer Yasuo and Dawnbringer Riven.

Yeah,my point is that 7.13 is too far away for this to be plausible. They probably won't hold that skin for 2 patches(not to mention that there are no other skins in 7.11)

Actually, Riot can hold this skin until next week Thursday. They usually drop teasers for reworks the Thursday before the Pbe release. So it is possible we see an Urgot teaser at the end of this patch when Chemtech Trynd is released. Even if this turns out not to be the case, there is no denying that the skin was made as a teaser for the upcoming Urgot rework anyways. Time will tell, I have also seen equal number of persons say that the next champ was confirmed to be released b4 Urgot and vice versa, best case scenario, they pull a Jhin-Shen release, where the Urgot rework and new Champ are on the same Pbe patch.

Edit: If we are on 7.11 now, we get the Trynd skin next week(second half of 7.11) and Urgot would be on 7.13... If... The Urgot rework is ready for release that is.

And being VGU's tend to take about 6 months, we may very well be nearing Urgot's completion (by the end of this month, Urgot will have been in development for 6 months if I am correct). So it could be that Chemtech Trynd comes out next week along with another teaser. Then 7.12 comes out the week after and we get an Urgot reveal along with the 7.13 PBE update. Of course this is all just speculation and could be completely wrong.
