@Riot Are Any of the Old Item Icons Being Updated this Preseason?

Currently we have: item 1055 item 1056 item 1054 item 3041 item 3089 item 3031 item 3072 item 3083 item 3065 item 1042 item 1038 item 3102 item 3006 item 1026 item 3117 item 1001 item 3009 item 1051 item 1031 item 3028 item 1018 item 1029 item 3123 item 1004 item 3022 item 1011 item 3025 item 1036 item 3004 item 3111 item 3115 item 3101 item 1058 item 1057 item 3047 item 1033 item 1037 item 3140 item 1043 item 1006 item 3027 item 3085 item 3116 item 3191 item 3057 item 3020 item 3087 item 3070 item 3077 item 3078 item 3135 item 3082 item 3091 item 3086 item 3157 All of which don't really fit the current style of Item Art of League and slowly become uglier as the game becomes more and more amazing to look at. Component items are not a huge deal since they aren't as important, but items like: item 3089 item 3031 item 3072 item 3083 item 3065 item 3102 item 3022 item 3025 item 3004 item 3115 item 3027 item 3085 item 3116 item 3087 item 3078 item 3135 item 3091 item 3157 plus the Doran's and Boot lines are items you will have for large portions of the game and, to be honest, aren't up to current art standards. Some have aged better than others, but some just don't look epic enough.

You said that these items don't fit the current art style of league.

Pretty much all of the items look like those. I don't really see the point of what you meant by "not fitting". It also would take way too much time to update all of the items considering that they are fine and they have way more things to do than this.

Most of those look fine to me. Zhonyas isn't very crisp but okay. Warmogs, Visage, Doran's Ring, and chalice are the only ones I see in need of change.
