Lulu was one of the 4 people chosen for the stat guardian line. This makes it her 5th or 6th 1350 tier skin. More than any other champion in the game.
Why wasn't karma, or Zyra, or another female champ who hasn't had a good skin in a while like leblanc chosen?
I think she fills a characteristic niche as being the bubbly happy girl that sees this power for all the fun it gives.
Karma had Order of the Lotus and Warden fairly recently, to me anyway. I'm pretty satisfied with Karma at the moment. Possibly also there would be a lot of overlap between Star Guardian and Order of the Lotus visuals.
Because people who're into magical girls also want to put it in her. Same reason why Jinx is getting the spotlight for a skin theme again, like with that Slayer thing that got all the stickers.

Not that I object to my favorite champion getting another new skin, but this is really putting a dent in my wallet.
I own and love every single Lulu skin so far, but I also think she's getting too many bites at the apple when there are so many other champions that are somewhat short on skins.
But in the meantime, I can't wait to see what Lulu's next skin looks like in 6 months!
I cringed when the leak suggested Lulu, mostly because this will be her 4th 1350 (along with Winter Wonder, Pool Party and Dragon Trainer).
I do think she fits the theme and her last skin was Pool Party over a year ago... so I'm not going to call foul.
I do think fielding a team of Star Guardians is going to be rough. Poppy can Tank. Jinx can ADC. Janna can Support. I guess Lulu is top??? Honestly I was starting to hope for that Star Guardian Illaoi (as silly as that might be for some) or even Star Guardian Irelia for a more solid team.
It's her 4th 1350 skin actually and 6th skin overall (7 if counting classic).
