Step one: Buy the skin
Step two: Go into Champ Select, equip the skin, lower skin tab.
Step three: Alt-Tab during loading screen until game starts.
Congrats. You can now enjoy the excellent skin you bought, without having to deal with the agony of a slightly disappointing splash art. Seriously, if a skin is great, a splash art means nothing when buying it. Just buy the skin, and enjoy it in game.

ModAcademy Kayn4 votesI'd could be wrong, but wasn't the Taric rework thing just giving him a longer V-Neck for the 5th Age skin. That doesn't compare to how people are feeling about the MF splash.
Other than that, Civil discussion is the only way to go. But then there are those drama queens who say that a Splash is what keeps em from buying an awesome skin.

Ravenhale4 votesEh, having 7 of her 8 skins will probably keep me from buying this skin on release, which has nothing to do with the splash.
They just need her face to look more like her Captain Fortune skin (or any other skin for that matter). I'm not hung up on "bosom" size, legs or feet. Half that stuff will get clipped on the loading screen anyways. This isn't some unreasonable request like "Fix Taliyah's Eyebrows because she's not pretty enough." Just want Fortune to look more like Fortune.
I think the angle on Candy Cane is the closest, and there is a stark difference in the facial structure (please ignore the fact that her chest somehow juts out over a foot past her chin in that skin).
Pailidin3 votesThe splash, for a lot of people, is the reason people buy the skin; it helps them get immersed into the alternate fantasy the skin is supposed to provide. A bad splash can ruin that fantasy and leave the purchaser dissatisfied.
Often times I wonder how stuff like this gets past the phase where the team takes a critical look at their work; and honestly it reminds me a lot of the Fiora VU and how the players reacted to the original concept that was dropped on the PBE... I thought the player-base was actually going to follow through on their threats to start a riot...
