Nothing has beaten their design for Victorious Elise in the line. It is even one of the best skins in the game.
I don't agree with the Janna comments most of all. That artwork is gorgeous. She didn't have anything like it until the recent Star Guardian Janna artwork was revealed. It is a shame none of us will ever get a shot at it. The in-game model actually reminds me so much of the upcoming Dawnchaster Sejuani and Karthus Lightbane skins. Nice quality overall.
Victorious Jarvan is underwhelming, so is Victorious Morgana in my opinion. Victorious Jarvan is more of the same, and his classic skin is a better version of that. The artwork on that one is also crappy, but it was their first Victorious skin. Victorious Morgana isn't bad, but we know they could have done better. Missed opportunity. People only bring out that skin because it was limited edition. Now that Blade Mistress Morgana got an artwork update, it is right down there with Exiled Morgana.
Victorious Sivir was the worst, which is a shame because so many of her skins are just as bad. The artwork is sloppy, and it looks like an inferior Warden skin caught in the sunset. The in-game model isn't that great either. Her blade design is so awkward. We deserved better in 2015. Still, so many people did want a Victorious Sivir skin last year.
With Victorious Maokai the quality is there. It is a beautiful skin! However it was a skin nobody was asking for or expecting, and that's where the problem is. I don't see many people criticizing the quality. Either way I'm happy to get the skin, but I will admit that I wish it was someone else.
When you see people upset that there is a Victorious Maokai skin, don't mistake that for upset over the design. It is the choice of Maokai in the first place that has sparked controversy. This season was full of many deserving champions with large fan bases, and they was passed up for Maokai. That's gonna create some salty people.
