Frankly, Kayle doesn't really strike me as a girlfriend/boyfriend type.

But even as an angel, she IS a women - and I presume women also got certain needs at times.

That's literally incest. I've been playing this game for almost 4 years now and I've never heard about anything regarding Kayle and Morgana from a romantic standpoint. This might be due to the fact that I don't use Reddit or Tumblr but this is the first time I've been made aware of this. It's disturbing to say the least and pretty cringey.

I don't play Overwatch but I am familiar with a little bit of the romantic fanfiction from that game from what others have told me so I don't doubt you on that. The McCree x Hanzo thing is really weird too. Like I could see something more reasonable like Genji x Mercy but some people just have way too much time on their hands.

It's still super weird. I think I read somewhere that the McCree x Hanzo fanfiction started just because they both like to drink alcohol or something. I personally don't have a problem with gay folks but it's odd when you see people essentially make something out of nothing and skew it into something completely unrelated. Are those people delusional or do they just have a lot of time on their hands? I guess that's Reddit and Tumblr for you.

It's weird because there isn't anything major in the lore that connects them yet so many people think that it's a good ship. I like good storytelling that can be deduced from connecting the dots in the canonical lore. Trying to force something just for the sake of making it happen is pretty shitty storytelling.

A ship is not supposed to have connection between 2 characters though. At least not necessarily. A person can ship 2 males or females or male and female together because he/she thinks it applies to him/her aesthetically. In the end, ships exist to satisfy your imagination, nothing more. They're not supposed to be canon. Some of them have potential and more value than other non-sense making, but It doesn't make others weird, unless it is incest, necrophilia, pedophilia, beastality, interspecies etc.

Though I agree on you somewhat about potential future couple ships. I like my ships when they have connection and potential. I don't ship Brand x Lissandra.
