What's Noxus relation to the Shadow Isles?

After reading the Shadow Isles' lore, it seems like many of their inhabitants Karthus Yorick Elise were originally Noxians, before becoming undeads from the Shadow Isles. Mordekaiser, as far as I understood, is not a Noxian but he peharps still has connections with Noxus, since it was built atop his fortress. Peharps the Noxian ancestors were enemies of the ancestors of Mordekaiser.

Then, apparently, it seems like Noxus and the Shadow Isles are deeply related, especially because this is not their only connection. According to the wikia, Elise being a friend of Leblanc implies that she is or was a member of The Black Rose, a secret Noxian organization. And since this organization was the responsible for resurrecting Sion, I wouldn't be surprised if The Black Rose used some Shadow Isles magic as part of their ritual to resurect Sion.

Guessing shadow isles is connected everywhere (since death is everywhere) but in a warlike political power nation like Noxus not only is there more opportunity to cause chaos and death but it is easier to hide unlawful acts in a place that kills just about anyone.

Noxus is primarily viewed as a place where the concept of "survival of the fittest" prevails. It is not necessarily an evil place, but it is prone to a lot of unethical dilemmas. In other words, people there do unethical things for personal gain. The Shadow Isles is pure evil. There is really no other purpose than to cause death or agony. The Shadow Isles is just a desolate place where everything becomes corrupted. No one knows the origin of this dark corruption.

However, as you can, one can easily see why champions from Noxus would be attracted to the Shadow Isles, or have anything to do with them. Noxians crave power, and the Shadow Isles is exactly that. The prime example is Elise. Elise was perhaps a Noxian citizen that traveled to the Shadow Isles in search of glory. She found Vilemaw and basically he gave her all her powers (or perhaps she seized them from Vilemaw by force?). She was most likely recruited by Leblanc to be part of the Black Rose because of Elise's formidable powers. Perhaps Elise was already part of the Black Rose before she got her spiderly powers. Elise and Leblanc are one of my favorite champions so I have done my research. :P

I love female champions that are conniving, smart, and evil.

As I know, and if I'm not speaking by my ass, Mordekaiser is the reason why Noxus exists. After his defeat, people get this place as their home.

That's why Noxus is related with Shadow Isles. They're related with necromancy since the beginning, thanks to Mordekaiser. And Shadow Isles is the mother of necromancy.

Mordekaiser wants to conquer Noxus though because he believes it belongs to him.

Well yeah. My question here would be that, if war will occur between these 2 who would win ? I'm asking this in personal level of power ( like how Darius or Swain could go up against Mordekaiser on 1v1) and of course how Noxus would beat the undeath of the Shadow Isles ?

How is Yorick or Karthus confirmed to be Noxian? Did I miss something?
