Each year already has easily discernible backgrounds, and I feel that the icons would overall look better without having dates on them. pls no delete thread

I think it's part of a money making play to try to make people constantly buy the most current icon instead of just get a standard one that can be used at any time
Absolutely agree. I refuse to buy any icon with text on it, its ugly as hell. When you're working with such a small space and you waste it on text its really, truly, just poor art design. Please let the art (which is different every year anyway, why the HELL do we need years on there?) speak for itself.
