Is it just me, or Jinx and Ziggs from their new comic sounds out-of-character?

If it's not for really cringey teenage fart jokes worded more like poems, then it would be how their lines sound more like speeches rather than casual conversations. On casual-sounding people like Jinx and Ziggs. After skimming through the lines I almost forgot it was Jinx doing the talking!

Don't get me wrong here, new stories and adding more friendships in between champions is great, and so is the plot itself. But the way their lines were worded... doesn't sound like something that they would say.

Thoughts?

It's called seeing a different perspective of them. These champions are not limited to how they sound in their VOs. I think this is the misconception you're getting.

Jinx could be anyway she wants, we never were told the limit of her craziness or remnants of sanity. Least I don't remember.

Ziggs did seem a bit off at times.

I agree with that, especially on Jinx. Some might say that "she's crazy, she could say anything" but that's not really being crazy, that's just being random. As well, and this could very well change if we see more of them together and it's well done, while I think them having a friendship is a fun idea, them as this "partners in crime" sorta situation that they're seem to be doing doesn't really appeal to me. Having them meet up every now and again to cause some mayhem is cool but them being each others right hand for whatever reason isn't working for me. Jinx in my eyes doesn't really need a partner and given Ziggs doesn't want to kill while Jinx has no problem doing so I feel that it's going to clash as a longterm teamup. Once again, that just my opinion and it could be that when I see more of them together I change my mind, so take that second part with a grain of salt.

I don't know. I thought some of it sounded like Jinx, but to be fair, we haven't really seen any other side of her till now.

A lot of characters seem a bit off in comics, and in lores too strangely enough. One that bothers me is Yasuo in Taliyah's lore -- speaks and acts nothing like Yasuo seems to be.

I don't know. The characters seemed to act just about how I'd imagine them. Ziggs sounds off yes, but you got to remember Ziggs is really old and his current lines may not reflect how he would act on a normal biases. Jinx sounds more natural but Ziggs was a weird disconnect for me.
