Do you think the new Yorick visual is creatively a downgrade?

I never noticed or thought much about Yorick, but regardless, it's a downer for me that there's no... uniqueness? to him. I'm a bad writer, even on my native language, so I might not be expressing exactly right what I'm trying to say

Does anyone else dislike his reworked skin? It's not that it is poor quality, it isn't. It's more that he looks generic af.

Yes there is diversity in the male champion roster, it's not about that, I'm not a male... ist.

But, imvho, his old skin, at least artistically, is a thousandfold better.

I seriously doubt people didn't play him because he was a gravedigger. 1st: 99% of my friends didn't read lore. Only one of them did (so you can deduce I have 100 friends, lol jk)

So ok, people don't play champions because they are visually displeasing. That one might be true - because I do play certain champions because of their animations and visuals (Aatrox, Kled, Liss). But that has no tie to their actual work and or actions, solely their GRAPHIC design and animation.

I actually commented how cool Yorick looked to a friend when I played him recently.

So what do you think?

The old Yorick looked better.

The new Yorrick looks like a generic World of Warcraft "Regar" type healer except with a slapped on grave theme.

The old Yorrick, with his green hue and menacing look, had a kind of sharp feel to him as well whereas the new Yorrick feels like he's a bit of a mindless brute.

I don't play Dota2 or w/e everyone was playing simply because they mentioned him looking similar to other characters, so imo, he looks way better than the old one. It's typically as good as how Sion got visually upgraded.

Old yorick was stereotypical and generic, new yorick is more generic but his ghouls and character are definitely better.
