Covering the mouth of a character is a very common League practice from old times, when doing mouth animations on the models was tricky.
But I think now that Swain is getting reworked, he no longer needs to hide his face. That would also further set him apart visually from Singed.
I like the mask. I don't have much to add other than that.
BUT, I'd like to ask, how is he visually similar to Singed in any way? Comparing current models/splashes, Singed wears Red metal armor, with a giant ass shield with a similar color scheme. Then there's Swain, with a green robe, crutch/cane, and black raven on his shoulder. Hell, model wise, Singed is bald, and Swain's got that dope ass purple haircut(which admittedly cool, should be gone with his update :p).
