@Jaredan: What feedback from us encouraged the changes to Azir and Xerath?
This is a continuation of within another thread, but I feel it deserves it's own separate discussion.
In the other thread, which was about Narrative not delivering longer lores on the champion pages, Jaredan said the following concerning certain changes to Azir and Xerath's stories.
More importantly, when we knew we couldn't put the stories out to you in the way we wanted **- and after listening to some of the concerns you expressed during the Shurima event - **we took a long hard look at the prepared stories we had and, frankly, decided we could do better. Azir and Xerath's stories are being rewritten and we are already pursuing other opportunities with Shurima-related champions.
My question is: What did we say that caused these changes?
Was Xerath really going to be the clone of Jafar from Disney's Aladdin?
Are you planning on making a more complete story than originally intended?
Was Azir, the armored bird man, really the last word, man?
These are the sorts of things I believe we lore fans should know. It makes us feel good to know that we're making a difference in the stories you want to tell and that we want to hear. In other words, while we're tired of hearing "We are listening to you," we don't have nearly enough examples of Narrative saying "Here's how we're listening to you."
And, if you want to wait for the "big reveal" to tell us, that's fine. Just don't forget to tell us!
