Yes it doesn't fit Zyra. Snow Day skins are "joke" skins. IRL winter clothes have no place on Runeterra. That's the whole point.

They do fit certain champions,mostly in terms of what outfit-possibilities the champ offers and how their abilities can be changed to fit the theme.

I mean lets take a look at a few of the more recent snow-day-skins: Bard changing his meeps to penguins,making him drop hot chocolate is pretty fitting for snowday and a clever way to use his abilities for the theme(only thing I find weird is that they didn't give him a santa-outfit) Syndra uses snowballs instead of her regular orbs,so its again pretty fitting Gnar fits likely the most in terms of personality,also they changed his Q to an ice pick/ice boulder respectively,which is also nice Malzahar Orianna Sejuani all use poros in their models in a nice way.

But what could be done for Cassiopeia? Recoloring her poison to snow-colors?That would seem rather forced. So what about her model?Nope doesn't really offer anything unique that would be fitting for snowdown either(not surprising since snakes don't take the cold that well)

You say Snowday-skins are joke skins and thus don't fit anyone specifically.

I say that fitting into runeterra isn't relevant to them as they can still fit the outfit or abilities of the champs,so where is your problem?

That because they don't fit anyone, they can be made to fit anyone. No-one is more "fitting" than any other. As I was jokingly suggesting, you could even make Snowday Bard and it wouldn't be any more or less fitting for him.

I think you mean snowday-brand,not bard(since Bard has already a snowday skin and you talked about brand before).

And not really,snowday-brand would be a terrible idea,since we have already cryocore brand.

And even if you made a snowday-brand,then what would he look like?Some winter clothes on him?Snow effects instead of fire?Pretty much the only ability where that would be even remotely fitting would be his ultimate as a snowball.

The snowday champs should try to include that snowday theme into their design/abilities in a clever way and Brand wouldn't do that. Meanwhile we have the snowday skins that I mentioned in my previous post,where they include the snow-theme in a more fitting way.

I actually agree with what Oglaf says, at least in some degree.

Snowdown used to be a canon holiday when the IoW was a thing, just like the Harrowing... But since they moved from the "christmas theme" to a generic "winter theme", Snowdown means nothing in the Lore... Like the Poolparty Skins.

Snowdown deserved to be as important as the Harrowing lorewise, but now it isnt.

Yeah,but saying a skin-theme doesn't fit any character because the skin-theme isn't canon is a flawed arguement.

By that logic no canon skin would "fit" any champion and riot could basically roll a die to determine which champion gets what kind of skin.

Yes, they could. That's exactly the point, LOL. Literally any Champ could get a Snow Day skin!

In theory everyone can get one,but that doesn't mean that it would FIT everyone equally. Like I said,Bard for example gives the unique opportunity to change his meeps into penguins,to change his shrines into cups of hot chocolate. Thats a smart use of the snow day theme that most other champions couldn't do(or no one in case of the cups).

In what unique way would Cassio for example use the snow-day theme? Just changing poison to snow?Thats pretty generic,so why not choose someone else where the theme makes more sense?(Like Yorick,giving him a snow shovel and let him summon snow-mans)
