Er, I mean... Lux x Ezreal...

Seriously though, people hate on it just because Ezzy isn't with Taric? Or are they both too "anime-ish"?

But if you take this from the lore perspective, it actually makes a lot of sense. An to-be "perfect child" that has been working and studying hard, strayed away from the outside a world with an explorer that knows a lot about the world, something that Lux's family (yeah, Garen) probably won't approve.

But too bad Rito never went any deeper just so they can "expand" on storytelling. So it doesn't matter anyways.

A lot of people were pissed because it felt that Riot was just being arbitrary about it, basically saying 'fuck you, no homo.'

Lux is a funadementally broken person, ripped out of her home to serve her country and subjected to military training from a young age. Her league judgement really reflects this, as without the league she had nothing. I think that a Lux/ezreal relationship would be a wierd combination of puppy-love, jealousy [Ez is the free-est champion, in contrast to Lux's caged bird], and mental-emotional support.

I can see them as playtime park best buddies... but as a couple? Nope, too mature relationship for how the character are displayed.

The thing is, Luxreal is actually canon, so if they don't agree, tell them to look it up and stop whining. Riot may actually expand on some of this stuff what with the new retcon on the IoW.

I agree, this relationship just makes so much sense, and is adorable to boot.

I really don't understand Ez and Taric. It literally makes no sense and feels really unnatural. I guess I can see it just as a joke but taken seriously? No way. Whatever, just my opinion. :3

I find them both annoying, so anything that might affect either positively is something I am strongly against. Unless Ezreal breaks Lux's heart, and her mind in the process, causing him to be on the Crownguard's shit-list, I do not care.

I dont even get where Ez x Taric came from, besides Ezreal being the pretty boy and Taric being...well he has pink armor so HE MUST BE GAY.

Well, there are many potential angles this little story could go. Here's the first one I thought of:

Garen "monitors" their "date" and hijinks ensue

Ezreal is looking for an official guide to some of Demacia's most famous landmarks as a sort of research into Demacia's past (could be a joint Piltover/Demacia mega research project, if you will.) Lux, enamored by the Prodigal Explorer, agrees to be Ezreal's guide, much to the chagrin of Garen. Garen, as you all know, has his own relationship issues in the past.

So, as Lux and Ezreal enjoy an increasingly fun time together, Garen gets more and more worried to the point where he charges from the bushes to attack Ez only to miss, crash into some display like Sion missing his ult, and embarrass his sister.

This story ends with Lux chastizing Garen before adding "This wasn't a date, you know. Now, when I visit Ezzie in Piltover next week, THAT might be an official date! Tee hee!"

The last image is of Garen chasing Ezreal while Lux giggles in the background.

Overall I neither like Lux nor Ezreal,so I find it fitting that they are dating. And yeah they do fit rather well together.
