Is Twitch Still Trying to Learn About His Own Kind in New Lore?

In Twitch's old lore:

Twitch has publicly stated that his goal is to gain enough influence and material from his work in the League to try to recreate the process by which he gained his sentience. While many challenges lie ahead in his quest - one of the largest being his own insanity - were he to succeed, it would mean a bold and brazen step forward in the evolution of all of Runeterra. Zaun has pledged its support for Twitch in his quest, though it remains to be seen what Zaun's ulterior motives are in the matter.

Will this be kept in the new lore? I don't mean Twitch being public, political, and all that nonsense, but will he still be interested in how he came to be as he is today? Or is just some insane rat dude that is sentient? What's Twitch's current deal?

He might be another kind of vastaya, ad I have to admit it, I don't like this idea

I'd rather him be a weird experiment or even an entirely new race or, if a Vastaya, an incredibly corrupt race of them. Like, so corrupt, the other Vastaya shun them because of how vile and twisted they are.

It's been stated time and again, any champ who didn't get a lore update during Xayah and Rakan's release is with out a doubt not Vastaya.

I don't think that we'll see Twitch new lore anytime soon. I think that cause he hadn't lore update with the Urgot rework he is kinda forgotten. Sadly.

Twitch is chemically altered. So he can be considered a psuedo vastaya but only as much as ww can considered one too. Hopefully they keep him as an insane sewer rat.

My main question was really if Twitch was still interested in other rats and why there aren't more like him.
