PROJECT // Predictions

As we near the end of August, the anticipation of new PROJECT skins grows ever higher. If previous releases are anything to go by, we'll likely be getting them in early September, along with a new legendary skin following in the foot steps of Ashe and Master Yi. Assuming a standard release, who do you guys think will be a part of the next PROJECT event?

Using the following criteria I've come up with my own list of potential skin candidates:

1. Champion is human (or has some human left in them);
2. Champion is not in line for a rework within the next five months;
3. Champion was not released or reworked within the last five months;
4. Champion has not received a skin within the last five months;
5. Champion does not already have a PROJECT skin;
6. Champion can conceivably fit the PROJECT aesthetic

Now, even though all of the above champions can conceivably fit the PROJECT line, there are some who obviously don't feel like proper fits due to their visuals and/or overall aesthetic (i.e. Annie, Gragas). What's more, PROJECT skins are usually given to champions who wield powerful weaponry or technology, rather than those with mostly magic on their side (i.e. Ryze, Morgana). As a skin line focused around identity, humanity, and strong personal values, I've narrowed down the list a bit closer to what I think is most probable. Furthermore, I've removed the champions who already have skins that share visual and thematic similarities to the PROJECT line (Pulsefire, Program, Dreadnova, Mecha, Full Metal, Steel Legion, Headhunter, Hextech, Battlecast):

Out of the champions listed, only Jinx possesses a legendary skin, which means the rest are all possible if not very likely candidates for a legendary PROJECT skin (though I have to say it's less likely for Irelia, Jax, and Pantheon, as they are all pretty high on the VGU list).

What are your thoughts? I personally can't wait to see what's in store for us this September, and hope we get a shiny new legendary skin just like the last two years' releases.
