I really don't know how people were surprised with Ezreal being the focus.

You just really can't get any more shounen than Ezreal, was the first thing I thought would be involved in the skin line when it was teased. I kinda agree with Lux not needing to be in this one, but I think that's just kinda a causality of Lux and Ezreal being coupled together in general. Like, c'mon guys, we're talking Anime. Annie-May. A Knee Mei. Everything this skinline does, screams it's source material to the sky and back.

They're not looking to throw themselves to be unique in the market, they're incorporating anime into League. So we may all relish in our trash tastes. Star Guardian hits as many tropes as I'm seeing here, it's just what the concept was.

I don't really care if Ezreal is the most "shounen" character. As I've been told when I complained characters didn't fit skins, that doesn't matter. Furthermore, I agree, that Kayn would have fit and been more interesting that role, lore wise. And he hasn't ready got a million skins.

Varus exists. As does Ekko; I think Ekko would have been entertaining as the Shonen in a shonen line. .-. Nunu would have been funny. But no, better give Ezreal another skin because lore wise he could provide the most boring option.

Its just always disappointing when they have announcements for big skin lines and then they just toss them at the same five champions over and over again.

it just sucks that the popular and irritatingly annoying champs get all the skins. we have over 100 champs let some others get good skins instead of vayne ashe jhin yi ex and lux all the time! seriously!!! ik they have to make money but they need to pay attention to all the champs and give us a better variety of skins (champ wise). Especially since the ones getting all the skins have multiple good ones including ultimates and legendaries. Jhin got blood moon and project recently lets give a new skin to someone else who doesnt have many. because i promise if you do this, people will want those champs just for the skin (this is many times the reason i get champions). Lots of newer champs could use some skins: Bard, A Sol, Ekko etc. im just tired of seeing the same champs over and over. lets get some variety in here.

Ezreal isn't even the most shounen character, that's Nunu. His story is entirely the young kid hero gaining powers to defeat the evil baddies and save his land. I don't really see how ezreal is shounen lore-wise at all. At least not the main character, maybe the "cool older brother" that people like.

Ekko could have fit the theme, Taliyah could have fit the teme, Jinx could have fit the theme . . . . so many other champions could have fit the theme. This is the case of them meeting a skin quota with specific champions every single year, and this community not holding them accountable with it. Professor Zilean would have been a better choice.

Nothing.Is.Casualty. It's about money my fellow summoner,if they counted on casualty at this point RekSai would have a battle academia skin (But not the skin you'd think she'd have) They were 100% sure about this and obviously they wanted this skinline to boom,and that' why they put 4/5 Super popular champs in this. Jayce was the only good skin to TRULY deserve it. (i'm not saying the other ain't good too tho)

What about the guy that does flips in the air while at the same time swinging his sword down on his opponents so hard they get knocked up, can summon magical shackles that bind and pull his enemies back to him, can grow wings out of nowhere and power himself up and also has a sword that can literally drain life from his enemies and holds his own essence inside of it that is also the same size as he himself is?

Sounds like a good candidate for an edgy anime protagonist (or even a side character that turns out to be evil to everyone's 'surprise') to me. Aatrox
