Make Spooky Gangplank his new Classic, and the current base a temporarily free "Captain Gangplank"

I really don't want a deux ex machina to revive Gangplank, which I personally hate in stories and I feel would ruin the otherwise so-far brilliant Bilgewater story. Why not just make Spooky Gangplank his new base splash art? And his current base would be a skin called "Captain Gangplank" that would be free for anyone currently owning Gangplank a week after the Bilgewater event. After it would be priced 520 RP.

but then how would they compensate all the GP mains that own spooky scary gangplank (since to be a GP main it is required you own the spooky scary skin)

Yes i agree with you, i hope Gankplank is actually dead.

I would be pissed off if they kill Diana and 5 days later they just say "Oh yeah your favorite character is not actually dead"

no fuck you, if you kill my Favorite character you will roll with it, and i want her dead to impact.

Spooky Gangplank is the new canon skin, but Riot will never make canon skins classic skins (examples: Captain Fortune & Spirit Guard Udyr)
