On a more serious note though, The lack of extra lore for members of the shadow isle and the NERFING of Mordekaiser's lore is making me think that Riot's lore team doesn't even LIKE the shadow isles.

Like come on, Morde went from being an evil genius with brawn AND a clear weakness that he tries to overcome into... Generic beefcake garbage...

come on Riot I know you can do better than this absolute trashheep of a story

The Shadows Isles updates came two updates ago with Hecarim, Kalista and a long story forwith Ledros. Plus Morde is no longer a Shadow Isles Champion. That's probably why you are getting downvotes.

If anything it was Yordles that got screwed two weeks ago with the lackluster Lore update they got

Shadow Isles/Blessed Isles has a lot of art and most champions up to date.

Bandle City got one new image last week and Teemo, Rumble and Corki are still out of date. If anything Riot doesn't like Bandle City.

I'm of the opinion that Karthus and Elise are horrifying underdeveloped characters and need more fleshing out. I would've assumed the writers were to take this opportunity to edit/reconfigure their biographies, since they were both written before 2018. Other than them I dont think the remaining Shadow Isles champs particularly need tweaking/revisiting (not that it's up to me anyway). So a push for a lore update featured back on the Isles wasnt necessary, especially when there was one already only a month ago.

I was, still am interested in how the Shadow Isles is divided among the different champions, as apparently each have a unique domain on the Isles. Apparently Vilemaw can repel the ghosts of the Mists from its area of the isles, which raises a bunch of questions. Yorick has yet to encounter any other champions, so has Maokai. Apparently Karthus has his own corner of the Isles and one would have assumed (at the time) that Morde did too.
