Who knows? Fortune made a mistake revealing herself after GP's "death". The Hooks in Act 4 operated knowing where and how to strike. It's possible they already figured out who was behind the attempted murder of 'ol Plank.
I'm pretty sure he would be able to figure it out since she's been actively hunting down his top men.
