Regarding Illaoi's future skins
Is it actual a requirement (for readability) that her tentacles be translucent?
In one of your recent Dev Blogs you stated that you felt Void Illaoi was unsuccessful. In my opinion, the model for Illaoi is really nice - it's just the mess of purple shimmers that's really annoying/jarring. If the tentacles were fleshy... if she looked like she was summoning Vel'Koz's arms... if the tentacles crawled out of portals, rather than bubbling pools of purple shimmer... I'd actually dig the skin. So did she have to have translucent purple tentacles?
I also ask because all the skin concepts I can think for her, and that I've seen online, require her to have organic, tangible tentacles. For example:
- Deep Terror Illaoi, where she summons a giant squid or octupus with orange, sucker-covered tentacles (perhaps even club-ended tentacles). Like Thresh, she could either look dredged up (covered in barnacles, the tentacles of an octopus wrapping her arm coming from her clutch-purse) and carrying a treasure-chest-clutch-purse; like Nautilus, she could be in an old-timey divers suit, but carrying her helmet in hand; or, like Zyra, an Ancient Greek/Poseidon themed "Summon The Krakan!" skin.
- Elderwood Illaoi, where she's a druid who summons the roots of an ancient tree. But the tentacles need to be barky, vine-tangled and very real.
But translucent tree roots/branches would lose any impact. It makes sense for them to be translucent when they're the tentacles of a god, whose attacks strike at the soul... but...

Just found that. Those vines wouldn't work if transparent.
