The problem with the new lores

The team seems to have the impression that more is better. These days, lore are written in such ridiculously long manner that I really don't even bother reading at em. Even with the remarks that the stories accurately capture the champion's personalities, just seeing the length in which the lore are written puts me off.

Honestly, a one paragraphed, succinctly written story would have had more appeal than going through a long story. And this honestly hinders the lore department so much more than it does helping them in the long run. Because now they go by champions, they spend a long time trying to write multiple, episodic, long lore about a champion before moving on to the next.

Don't get me wrong, I loved lore it was part of the reason I got hooked on to League. But since the way they changed the lore since S3, it's just become a huge snooze fest. The penmanship feels like it was written by an 18 year old. The flow of words feels so forced and I feel like that's because the writers have to get these lore completed under short times and immense pressure.

You can't rush quality stories when you are writing for the sake of getting it done. I would have enjoyed those additional chapters as an expansion like how League Judgment was treated. I don't understand why champion bios need to be in ridiculously long lengths to feel interesting. Quality not quantity, dear writers.
