It appears that Evelynn's lore has been changed awhile ago

Evelynn's official profile http://gameinfo.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/evelynn/ on the League website currently features different version of Evelynn lore. I am not sure when it was changed, probably somewhere in the second half of 2014. It's much more basic and summarized compared to the old one. Does that mean that her identity changes are expected to come soon?

The old version of the lore is still on her LoL Wikia page and also can be seen in the archived version of her official page: https://web.archive.org/web/20140403030035/http://gameinfo.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/evelynn/

This happened with all the Shadow Isles and Shurima champions. Don't hold your breath on an Eve lore rework for a while, it'll most likely come when she gets that VU.

I'll go deeper into Hippoman's explanation.

If you remember in late August, Riot introduced a series of shortened, three-sentence bios on the PBE for what would eventually become the "Shurima" patch. A couple of months later, they did the same for most of the Shadow Isles champions, including Eve.

Tech issues with the database and website, along with Riot's own policy of always taking their time (some would say "way too much time") to do things have delayed the release of the new full bios, save Xerath, Azir and Kalista (which were released on the Boards) and Sion, which was accidentally released with the rework.
