A theory about Ekko, Jinx, Vi... and Ezreal?!
We know how three of them might be connected, but we have no idea how. And what Ezreal might have to do with them (but more about him later).
Ekko, Vi and Jinx are from Zaun. Something happened, causing Vi to have amnesia and Jinx to go crazy. It has to be said that this is NOT the event stated in Vi's lore! She remembers that one. No, whatever has caused this mess must have happened waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before that.
In another thread I brought up the possibility of human modification in Zaun, seeing that both Vi and Jinx are slightly superhuman. A genius engeneer AND a master tactican who is able to out-run people even while carrying heavy weaponary. Wait, Jinx is a master tactican? At first you would imagine someone like Swain when hearing that phrase. But Jinx is highly intelligent, especially if she has to make up a plan within a few seconds - this is how she can play around with Vi, Cait and the entire Piltovian Police Force at once - she simply outsmarts them all.
Additioanlly the fact that both of their bodies are slightly superhuman in terms of strenght makes one wonder if they are not some kind of bio-modded experiments. Ya know, typical Zaun style: Grab some kids from the streets and do some science! Most of them probably didn't survive the modifications tho or were discarded as failures. Not sure if the three of them are rejected subjects or if they broke out and lived on the street since then, hiding from their pursuers - would explain that weird teched up dude trying to capture Ekko (he could have killed him at some point in the video, but instead of his ribcage or head he squashed his ARM. Kinda suspicious...)
The roman numberal theory makes this even more plausible. Vi got her name from the tattoo, Jinx probaly calls herself because of the X (maybe she wears these belts for a reason... to cover up her tattoo?). Also Ekko has a XII on his sword.
About Ekko: We have no idea how exactly his machine works. We are not even sure if the machine is just outside of his body or if that's just the visible part, making him some kind of cyborg. It would make sense for the machine and the one it has to transport back in time to be connected somehow, but we can't be sure if it's because he's just wearing it or if there is some weird Zaun science body-modding going on.
But what connects them with Ezreal? All of them are some kind of genius. Strategy and Long range combat (Jinx), Ridiculous Hextech Engeneering skills + saboteur skills. Vi took a freaking machine apart to build her gauntlets. Within a few moments. While the room was collapsing. If there is war between to highly technologically advanced city-states, this is the kind of soldier you need...
Ekko would fit in a genius "time traveller". I'm suspecting that time travel is not for everyone. Whoever gave him that machine probably had a lot of other people use it, only to see them suffer from... let's just call it "lethal side effects".
And this is where Ezreal comes in. The genius explorer, who mapped out THE ENTIRE CANALISATION OF PILTOVER at a very young age within a super short time. Parents unknown, only know family some weird Piltover-science dude. In another thread I have seen someone point out that one of the kids in the mural in Ekko's video looks kinda like a very young version of Ezreal. Even if he was not from the same origin as they were, he might be connected to them. It's canon that he wandered around wherever he wanted as a kid, so him ending up in Zaun might be quite posiible (it's the next city so...)
And yet, there was an event that completly wiped Vi (&maybe Ezreal's) memory, probably of a very traumatic nature, Jinx went crazy and Ekko... not sure what happened to him back then. And what role does Ezreal's "uncle" play with that?
Another option: how far developed is memory-wiping-tech in Zaun?
Hmmm I wonder how this story will go, especially since there is still the mysterious C around...
