Chill out this is one instance, doesn't mean every new champ is going to be like them and it doesn't make sense to instantly jump to that conclusion.
Honestly it's kinda refreshing to get a bit more generic design after all these edgy and niche types.
I agree with you, BUT, as far as I've heard (haven't read the story yet) these are Ionian characters. Ionia is kinda the Asia of the LoL universe, so characters having a ''Cute Anime Girl/Man with Cat ears and wings, like every Korean mmorpg ever'' is not THAT surprising.
Still plenty of room for other type of non anime characters for other regions.
My favorite Champion is Ahri. Sooo I'm ok with it.

LOL? those designs were terrible.
Camille was sort of passable, Taliyah was atrocious, Illaoi was disgusting. I remember back in the day we had champs like the original 40 (Annie, Singed, Katarina, Mordekaiser, Kassadin, Garen, etc.) and the style was very well established. They changed for some reason and added some really nonsensical champs like the ones you mentioned.
The new champs look fantastic and I am glad they are returning to form. I hope this is a strong sign of things to come as well. Kudos to Riot for making such a lovely bird-girl champ, she is the cutest/best design they've had in multiple years.
What's generic? I can easily tell them apart from the rest of the roster. :/
Besides, after a bunch of super unique champs, it's only fair we get another traditional fantasy champ. I see nothing wrong with that.
Camille is good design? It's like they took the one of the worst movie ideas of all time and made it into a character. Illaoi was just an excuse for people to make tentacle porn jokes, and Taliyah was basically an Earthbender. How are these any better designs than "Pheonix/Harpy couple who are supposedly an entirely new race(or at least newly introduced race)"

Except of Rek'Sai and Aurelion Sol, others are all humanoid (And there are 4 actual humans among them). Why can't we have more Vel'Koz like champions? We have more than half humanoid champions in entire league.
