How long do you feel a champ should go without a skin?

So something that I've been doing in my spare time is making a list to figure champions skins: such as how many obtainable (regular or legacy) ones there are, which one was there last one and how long ago that was (not fully finished since I'm still deciding on Sivir and whether or not to count her "new' PAX skin as available since it's gemstone but also legacy and will be going soon. Didn't count WW's URF skin since it's pretty much the same but with Sivir it's a bit different).

Rechecking my list, by tomorrow (which will also be my birthday, hurray for 20) the next two champions that have gone the longest without a new skin will be Amumu and Udyr and it'll be 1000 days since they've received a new skin. This will make 11 champions that have gone without a skin in a while (10 if we do count Sivir's PAX gemstone skin), and two of those champs, Urgot and Swain, are in the 2000 range.

To me this is just a bit ridiculous. I know that popular champs will always make Riot sales and be better than say making a skin for a lesser played champ just to make people happy & Swain is still getting reworked (and should be coming soon hopefully) and others in the top 10 like Eve and Urgot have been reworked and are viable for skins, but to me having a champ go over 1000 days, let alone 2000, without a skin is just unthinkable.

Yes, it took a while for Sion and Yorick to get their new skins after rework, it took a while for Cass and Viktor to get new skins. But if you go through the info like I did the list is still growing. Galio is getting close to the 1000 range as well as Skarner, Rammus, Xerath and Fiddlesticks.

I've already made a post not too long ago about champs that are in desperate need of skins, but now I'm making this on ask you guys how long you should think a champ should go without a skin? should it should roughly be a year and a half min? 2 years? What are your thoughts?

Personally, I feel like it should be a case of making whatever comes to mind that's a cool idea for the champion, but if I were to put a limit to things: 2 years. Try for two years maximum between skin releases. If a champ goes longer than they they should become a higher priority.

That's probably how it already works; champs who've been neglected for skins probably get a look in at every ideation meeting possible, but hey you asked for our thoughts so yeah.

I'd say roughly a year, granted since there is a large number of champions it's difficult to get a skin, but they never should allow a champion to go more than 2 years, let alone the fact that there are community created skins concept so there is no excuse for them to not have ideas for skins. Especially since there are themes like Star Guardians, Dark Star, Pool Party, Project, etc.

2 years.

140 champs / 70 skins per year = 2 years.

It doesn't follow this model, but I wish it would.

Ahri needs at least 3 skins of year.

2 years tops if we exclude the team, victorious, conqueror and championship skins since those skins aren't chosen naturally
