I have to share my thoughts on the latest Harrowing Skins

First, YES VIKTOR FINALLY GOT HIS SKIN! RIOT IS ACTUALLY KEEPING THEIR WORD ON THIS SO FAR! I may not play Viktor but this really makes me want to start learning and maining him now.

However to my second point, and the more important topic are the other two candidates for this new Death Sworn series: Zed and Katarina.

Now Zed...I don't really see a huge fuss over at least when it comes to as a candidate. When you look and think about it, Zed only has 2 other skin that you can freely purchase, PROJECT and Shockblade. Outside of that, are his SKT and recent Championship Skin, which came out last year, but those are legacy skins saved up for Worlds or random luck through hextech chests/rerolls. He also might be being added because of say that Underworld Zed concept a while, which could easily say that this is suppose to represent that skin that people wanted.

Here's where my problem, and from other people as well, comes up though. It doesn't really feel like it holds up as his other skins. PROJECT is just nicer, as with Championship, &Shockblade has chromas. This might be because of his new wrist blade things now being claws which I personally like the idea but as it's pulled off right now it just looks odd. On top of this I kinda hate how they replaced his shurikens with daggers. Idk it doesn't look right when he Q's. Do I think the skin is bad though? Well at the moment yes kinda but that can easily be fixed. Like I said, I do like the idea of having claws instead of blades to give a unique feel but either they need to touch up on it so it looks better, give him a unique stance to make it fit or just change it back to blades. AND BRING BACK THE SHURIKENS!

Now to Katarina: Why?!?!?! She already has a harrowing skin, Kitty Katarina. I mean I guess they're trying to go for a more serious Harrowing style skin for her, which I guess makes sense, but honestly the skin doesn't look that appealing or feels like it fits in. Zed and Viktor have a distinct feel to them: they're spirit like, they have broken body/armor that somewhat floats*, almost sharing that Soul Reaver Draven look. ######*And you'll float too

Kat on the other hand I will say just looks bad. She doesn't feel like she fits in. It looks like she's trying to steal Deadly Blossom Kha'Zix's color scheme. At the same time, keeping her human doesn't help. Yeah I know keeping her that way helps with sales because tits and sexiness for later rule 34 but keeping her that way is not selling her in the same theme. The hair tries to look like it's floating around like mist or whatever, but it fails and looks a bit stiff looking. The dagger, again with Zed, don't fit her as we're use to her own style of daggers. Her outfit...I just despise. It doesn't look good. Just overall it feels out of place from the series.

Final Conclusion: I'm happy that Viktor got his skin and, as far as I can tell on it, it's amazing and needed. Zed can work if Riot goes back and tweaks it a bit. Katarina feels absolutely out of place and the skin needs heavy work if they want to continue with it.

And for everyone who says "they're not going to listen" then voice your opinion and let them know what they should work on, whether or not you're on the PBE or just here on live. Hell try getting the whole Art board filled with these maybe then they'll have to rework on these skins a bit.
