@Riot - Item Lore?

So the most recent All Chat got me thinking about relics in the game a little more, and more importantly, WTF are some of these items? I was curious if you guys had any lore built up about the items, because even some champions, like Taric, question what things like Warmog's Armor are, and I think it'd be pretty interesting to learn more about the second most important aspect of the game aside from champions.

So here are some of my questions: What exactly or who exactly is Warmog? What is the Frozen Heart? Who's Bami, and why does she have magical charcoal? Who is Streak, and why does he have a magical glove? Where does Phantom Dancer originate for? Who made the Trinity Force? That's all I have for now, but I'd be really interesting in learning about any more item lore you may have lying about.

As a fan of the Dark Souls series I'd love for myths and stories to be hinted at in the items.

Is Doran's lore still canon? item 1055 item 1056 item 1054

Some items have lore, like the item 3191 which is used by Sejuani ( look at her splash). Probably not everyone has in depth lore since it can be more or less common, like the fiendish codex.

However there are many that are loreless because they have a different origin, for example Sterak' s Gage item 3053 is named after a player, so is Bami's Cinder item 3751 . Or some like Rylai item 3116 and Youmuu item 3142 go beyond the game :D ( they reference dota2 and touhou respectively ).
