New Rammus lore looks like amumu's
no one knows who he is, a boy saw him eating beetles, and a bunch of folklore.
from the new lore we know nothing about rammus other than he eats beetles.
OK.

I disagree. Rammus' is much more humorous than Amumu's.
I also think that Rammus being a mysterious, but rather silly being in reality, is somewhat of a big part of his character. Unlike him, I'd argue that Amumu being super mysterious shouldn't be a thing for all eternity. I think that Amumu will eventually need to be have more information revealed about him, but that might be just me. Although I did like his color text (It fits as an "introduction kind of story", IMO).
I might be talking rubbish though, because I honestly enjoyed every recent Shurima-related lore piece so far. ;P
Yeah I was afraid it would turn out like this, though I think that it works a lot better for Rammus than it did for Amumu.
In the case of Rammus it is part of the charme that he is this mysterious being who is even worshipped by some even though no one knows what exactly he is.
In Amumus case it just feels like they just don't know what Amumu actually is.
