Now as the most powerful champion is he a Cho' Gath tank or is he support. Maybe even jungle. And after that do the dragon slayer skins have anything to do with him. I'm just exited for this champ all around.

this implies Illaoi God is stronger than any petty gods that come from targon. of course we wont know what sol is until his actual lore reveal, but im pretty sure that Illaoi's god is above him in power.

Is Nagakabouros(?) stronger or Aurelion Sol? Both are literal gods. But one controls suns and effectively a galaxy (perhaps the universe if he wishes) and one controls anything to do with tentacles......

Pretty sure Sol would win when put against Nagak...

you got it all wrong. first off naga's appearance is different from person to person, she has mentioned this a few times. it just so happens that when illaoi harnesses her power it takes the form of a giant kraken because she is from bilgewater.

2ndly, naga is the god of motion. all things that move is under his control. the more movement or destruction that is present the more pleased he is. this includes sol. sol appears to be constantly moving destroying and creating planets, which is naga intended purpose for the universe. if everything stops moving then the universe dies and so will naga.

"everything that moves is nagakabouros". she means that literally.

basically her god is the god of life. pretty sure sol is a living being god or not.

Your right. The lore just gives them their background, their personality, and in general makes them less 1-D characters. But that's no important at all...(even though the lore is what is actually happening, and summoners rift isn't even canon. So power levels mean nothing there)

Well, sorta. I mean Pantheon's lore gave us a cool, scrappy underdog who trained and fought REALLY hard... Then died and some generic god-thing is running around in his body for... reasons.

It's a game. If the lore doesn't explain or fit into the game... it's just very short, poorly written stories that don't really go anywhere or have any real resolution. My point, however, was that since the Rift has been rendered non-canon and none of the matches are things in the lore anymore, it doesn't matter what he looks like on it, since it won't be the character from the lore. They could make his character model a fat smurf in a jogging suit for all it mattered, since the character we play on the rift isn't canon or "real" in the lore.

Also, their lore doesn't give them all that. Or at least, it's not the only thing. Simple things in-game give them personality and makes them less 1-D. Their in-game voice overs give a lot of personality if done well. Listen to Kog'Maw talk... now listen to Draven.... now listen to Riven. You don't know their exact stories, but you understand who they are. Now imagine they added lore that Draven was a disgruntled florist who dreamed of the day he could arrange flowers for a royal wedding but he was always kept in the back room by his boss and he cried every day until a magical pixie came to him and told him that he could use the force and he needed to travel to Dagobah... but he told the pixie to @#%$ off and he learned to throw machetes instead. Now he's got a background... but it's awful. It makes the character worse... or at least improves nothing. Pantheon being a god-being now doesn't improve him at all. It... doesn't really give him any personality at all. He's still just a scowling, generic badass without much to him... only now we know he used to be cooler and more interesting. Um... yay?
