Seriously that comic was awesome because it made me actually give a damn about Draven and Darius. Those characters honestly have so little character in game but that comic gave them a bit of a human side.
I actually really enjoyed seeing something more sorrowful of a character like Darius who up till now, didn't shake me as anything more than a war hungry soldier.
Do more of these Riot. It really makes your characters feel alive.
Skullthorn2 votesI really didn't like it. I appreciate Riot wanting to make characters more human, but to me this isn't the story of a man who would kill his commander for cowardice then killed all the leaders he didn't like. The ending wasn't one where the main character would stick to their way of life, but doubt it. But if this is a backstory for him, why is he still a fervent supporter of Noxus? I really liked the artwork at points, but to me I feel the writer didn't understand the character.

Darius still supports Noxus because he knows that his emotions arent important when it comes to greater good. which in this case is Noxian empire. Darius doesnt have asingle doubt in his mind about who he is, that being a loyal soldier of the Noxian way. However he does have issues when those he loves goes against his ideology and while Darius will always choose his ideals over others he still has problems coming to terms with the aftermath. Atleast thats how i saw it.
Killaburn1 votesfor heaven's sake, i think thats darius old lore/placeholder lore and just wait til the noxus update, maybe the things you've been hoping for will come there or the otherside of dar will come there.
