Solar Eclipse Leona, believe it or not ... is a Dark Souls reference. Don't believe me?
Her armor is very identical to the Ringed Knights in Dark Souls 3's DLC: The Ringed City. Even the crest of hers matches the gaping glowing hole in the knights you see before you. Also note, Leona's skin line is called "Solar Eclipse", and the other one is called "Lunar Eclipse". While the Lunar one is a bit similar, i'm focusing the Solar one because it's pretty similar to the Dark Souls version, plus her shield's ring looks like the Sigil Sun in Dark Souls III.

Whether it was intentional or not ... not only as a Leona Main, did my champion get a great skin, but it's a love letter to my all time favorite game. Two things I cherish deeply come together as one, and it's incredible. Never going to use another Leona skin after this one.
EDIT: Even some of her lines are directly from Dark Souls .... and her hatred towards the "Gods" is also a direct reference to the hollows detesting the old gods for their cruelty upon mankind / hollows, so even the character's lore is a bit on par with Dark Souls 3 too.
