Why did Pulsefire Ezreal get shafted so hard?
Quick warning, this is me venting.
So back when Pulsefire Caitlyn came out a bunch of people were like, "Why is Pulsefire Caitlyn, a legendary skin, better than Pulsefire Ezreal, an ultimate skin?" and the simple and reasonable answer to that question was, "Technology has gotten better."
All of that was reasonable, but what I still don't understand was the motivation for the whole thing to happen. Pulsefire Ezreal didn't need to be reworked into a time travel skin. I understand that creating a line of skins based around time travel seems super cool, but why did it have to be Pulsefire? Why did the first ultimate skin get turned into skin line? Are we going to be getting a Spirit Guard skin line? What about a DJ skin line? Or an Elementalist skin line? It really deadens the unique-one-of-a-kind feel of an ultimate skin by literally making it not unique or one-of-a-kind anymore.
I realize that at this point there is literally nothing that can be done. It would be impossible to remove the Pulsefire line of skins. It'd also be impossible to create some sort of "We're sorry for screwing up something you paid a decent amount of money for." gift for Pulsefire Ezreal owners, but I can't imagine that I'm the only one who feels kinda bummed about the treatment of Pulsefire Ezreal.
