I actually like the new ult a lot better. The old ult looks rather messy.
His old ult looked amazing and I think it would be cool to tweak it if they make a Pool Party Ezreal skin. But Ezreal already has too many skins! Well I'm wishing for every champion in the game to have a Pool Party skin. It also doesn't have to come out for 10 years, so all the other champions could have a chance to get nice skins for themselves. Taric needs a buddy though if you know what I mean
But yeah.. compared to his old particles, the new ones appear lackluster and toned down, which doesn't make him feel as ultimate. It looks like it could be part of the Project skin line instead of something more
i personally prefer the new smooth look of the skills over that mess in the old ones, it was so not technological and more like ezreal just exploded and the energy when in one direction along with dust
The effects could have been partially downgraded for LCS players to actually use the skin. I recalled there are certain skins banned because of the flashy particles. Then again, who knows?
u should be happy they even considered going back to update an old skin after they said they really dont like doing that.

his old q effect was SOOOOOOOOOOO much better
I like the new ult, but it could be brighter.
I like the new Q better, the old one confused me as to the size of the particle vs the actual hitbox.

the entire new skin looks nothing but worse. W on the old skin is arguably just a recolor of normal W but the current/old skin looks way better than the update IMO why is riot so bad at updating....
The issue is all of the particles that need to be updated, as well as the model. It's a very daunting task, and the skin is quite old. When it was released, it was top notch.
I like the updates more than then old. He used to have really messy and pixilated particles now they are smoother and cleaned up. He doesn't need to have an extra mess following him and his attacks around.
