This skin is awesome, I enjoy all of it very much incase you didn't read the full title of this post.

However playing it kind of made me realize something.. aside from model changes on lux herself, some of the elements just look like recolors of her base. This is fine with me, I enjoy it no less however I was wondering couldn't we do something like this with chromas? Recolors for the particles of their abilities? I've noticed certain particles will change colors for chromas, so far the only one that comes to mind however is mecha malphite having a different colored Q to match whatever chroma you're playing. I feel like we can make chromas truly special this way if we can do it for all chromas where the base skin has modified particles, etc.

While it would be cool to do something like this for chromas you have to keep in mind that changed particles are genrally only something for 975-skins and above.The only exceptions are skills that are linked to the model of the champ(like zacs goo,or blitzcranks fist) or occasions where the original skill effect would look extremely out of place(warden nautilus is a 750-skin with a new W-effect,because the old one would look out of place) So the 750(and 520) skins should get recolored spells first,cause they are more expensive and usually don't come with new or even recolored ability effects.

THIS. At first I was very excited for Elementalist Lux, but when I had to face her ingame I didn't even notice the skin, and it just looked all a little too less spectacular. All I like now about the skin is the splash art. The skin itself looks kind of "meh", and I'll gladly stick to my Steellegion and Sailormoon Skins.
