Can we all talk about Janna's new lore for a moment?
Because I'm freaking in love with it.
Janna always had the identity crisis between "otherworldy wind goddess" and "zaunite orphan with random magic powers". And since we really got our fair share of zaunite orphans in the lore and ingame (Zac, Vi, possibly Jinx) I doubt we needed another one. However, with all the mythical and spiritual figures in lore, Janna is definetly something new, probably an archetype to an opposite
She's in a weird spot tho, because either things are going super well for her (she can display power, people's belief in her is strenghtened and she can show even more of her power and so on) or absolutely terrible (she loses power, can do less, people lose faith, resulting in even more loss of power...) - and we do not know the full potential of that power source. Is it possible for her to be "overloaded" with power? Could she exist in two material places at once? Like, two disasters like the canal explosion happening in opposite ends of the world, both where people believe in her? Would she be torn apart? Or wouldn't this be an issue as her original being is not material in the first place and all materiality is nothing but a projection from wherever she resides?
Or what would happen if people started interpreting her differently? She was born from faith, what if people projected new things onto her? Would they create a new spirit? Would Janna be forced to change? Would she even notice the change? Would she accept it or fight it?
So much interesting stuff, so much potential, that is why I love the new lore.
I wonder what happened to her believer in the color text tho... I mean, people in OUR world go crazy when they just hallucinate contact with their subject of faith. Now imagine what an ACTUAL contact and miracle could do? I bet there is now a zealous believer in Zaun, hell-bent on building a cathedral or temple for the spirit/goddess. Given the nature of a WIND spirit it's probably going to be an impossibly high tower with a lot of open windows...
