@Riot : What about skin splashes?

Hey everyone,

This has been on my mind for a bit and I can't recall anyone at Riot making an official statement yet, so I figured I'd ask, myself.

As you know, a great many of champions have been getting base splash art updates to kinda freshen up the look of champions released a good while ago. Sadly, these changes only concerned the base splashes and any skin splashes apart from Classic skins have not been getting an update, causing a certain disparity between the now new base splash arts and all the other (old) ones a champion has.

Now I know that it takes a while/resources to get these things done. I'd just like to ask if there is word of a project to update skin splash arts aswell and, if there is, when the community can expect to see the new goods. End of the year? Early 2015? Just a rough estimate, if there is any at all, and if not, why is that? I mean, Twitch, for example, has quite a few splash arts now that really look nothing like his current in-game model and that's a bit of a shame. Of course, Karthus and Sion are also some good examples for that.

Just hoping to get a heads-up from you guys in the art department!
