The question is tho: what if it turns out that the zaunite's intentions were pure in this case? Then she literally just murdered someone "because he's from the bad part of the city and I don't want that in my town". I am not sure, but wouldn't that almost fall into some category of social racism (for the lack of a better phrase)? "Filthy undercity dwellers only harm the system, keep them down! AT ALL COSTS!"
Of course she could have been right and he was an asshole who did it only for power and influence, but now we will never now...

Woah, woah, woah! The whole deal with Viktor being seen as a menace, or at the very least an oddity in the scientific community, was because of his augmentations. His belief that man and machine should be integrated to uplift the individual was regarded with skepticism, and even a little fear. Yet in the comic, Zaun and PIltover employ augmentation, to the point that it almost seems common.
