Do you think so? Maybe Kndred just decided to spare her. Wolf said that "There are other things nearby..." and i am pretty sure that was about her team... They look more like soul collectors that you meet shortly before death clams you, but instead, they claim your soul and hunt you for eternity. It's as if they are a spectral entity. And they were there to collect the souls of the rest of the group, hunt their souls after their death...
The story gave me the idea that Kindred murdered her troupe, and then Magga many years later.
