IS ORNN ONE OF THE WATCHERS???

(sorry for the clickbait title ^_^")

The Watchers have been described as immensely powerful being responsible for bestowing the power of the iceborn (Lissandra's race) to humans in exchange for their loyalty.

Ornn has been described as a god who forges mountains like a blacksmith forges weapons.

Seeing as up to this point the Watchers were the closest thing to deities we had heard about from the Freljord, perhaps Ornn has some connection to them.

Perhaps he is the first of the Watchers, and all others after him became corrupted with the power of true ice. Perhaps he is simply one among the ancient race and not necessarily the procreator, but the only one who has not embraced the power of true ice. Perhaps they were empowered by true ice to begin with and he simply broke away because he didn't like what he was seeing. Perhaps he gained some power taboo to them and was exiled. Perhaps he was simply so powerful that he was the only one left after their eradication. Perhaps he was their ruler, bestowed with some great force of nature. Perhaps he was their "Chosen One", and his powers are a some sort of sign. Perhaps the progenitor of the Watchers' race is his evil twin brother. Perhaps he thirsted for power, sought knowledge, or was simply eccentric and through any of those means stumbled upon his powers.

There are countless possibilities, so let's see what you guys can come up with! Leave your thoughts in the comment section bellow! [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

I highly doubt it. Chances are that he is involved in their story line, maybe he was even the one creating the howling abyss (since he is the "Mountainsmith").

But I don't think that he is a watcher.

My theory is that he created the True Ice weapons for the sisters. One of the background pages of the lyric sheets states something about gifting the sisters because their tribes were being attacked.

So to me, that says he probably created their weapons or even was the one who turned them into Iceborn.

I'm not sure if I think he is an actual Watcher or not. This I heavily doubt, but I think he was one of the original Iceborn.

Yeah originally I kinda doubted the possibility that he might be a watcher(watchers don't seem to have mouths,so why would they show a horn for him?) But now I think it is actually pretty likely.

I mean those true ice weapons have to come from somewhere and if anyone is able to forge true ice weapons then it is likely going to be a watcher. It is possible that he simply remained neutral and thus wasn't targeted by the humans when they overthrew the watchers.
