With the lore being reworked for a lot of things now, it makes me question if we'll see new releases for champions that add more to their regions for regions that have already been reworked. The Shadow Isles, for example, just got a massive lore overhaul with a story that has a satisfying completion. So, my question is, will we see any new Shadow Isles champions in the future and will those new champions add to the existing lore or just have their own lore?
Well they introduced Braum after the initial romp in the Freljord, Illaoi after the Bilgewater romp and Taliyah after the initial Shurima romp, so I'd say yeah they'll keep adding champions for existing regions after their introductory event. If anything those events make it easier to produce new champions since it lays down the narrative framework for characters to exist in that part of the world.
How they relate to their region will depend on who and what the champion actually is.
Pretty sure that they will still introduce champions who'll add to the region in meaningful ways. The best example would likely be Targon,as we have barely any idea how the society of the aspects works,so there is plenty of room to explore.
