The Jinx comment seems to be using "sister" as a slang term, like "bro". I wouldn't read into it having anything to do with Jinx's actual, biological sister. If anything Riot might just be poking fun at that unsolved mystery.

Kassadin being her father was a bit of a given, with Swain's teasing of the return of Kassadin's daughter who was banished to the Void. That's been a hanging plot hook for years, and there can't be that many people getting spit out of the Purple Hell Zone.

The Jax thing caught me by surprise, but it makes sense. His new Lore has him from Icathia, which is like, Void Central, and he's trying to find a way to stop the Void that destroyed his home. Kai'sa seems like someone he'd absolutely want to seek out and have in his corner.
