also what if her standard form isnt even the one she has currently? what if in reality she looks totally different?

The voice line in English is "Neeko is on her fourth tail!" It's not really an age measurement.

Neeko is most likely at least a century old.

And she's on her fourth tail. Some reptiles regrow lost tails. Neeko has lost 3 due to accidents.
