For those of you who are unaware about this but in Gangplank's old lore there was mention of his father, Vincent the Shadow.
Now of course Gangplank has a father but i'm just wondering if the old lore is still relevant? As in did Gangplank actually kill his father to became the most feared pirate in all of Bilgewater because it seems it would fit with his whole dread pirate theme he has going on.
Not sure if his father's name is still vincent the shadow but it was mentioned in the Gangplank dev round table
He’s going through his own trial by fire. He had to change physically. This is the most extreme trial by fire he’s been through, perhaps since he killed his own father.
This was actually mentioned in the Bilgewater-event: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/site/bilgewater/#act-3 Click on the symbol of the maw of the deadpool and it'll mention that GP got this ship through patricide(killing his own father) While the name of his father wasn't mentioned they didn't change the name of his ship,so it is likely that his father is still called vincent.
